NEWSLETTER EDITION #108

It’s the mix of antique and new art that keeps it interesting for us.
See what we mean below.

Circa 1935 Playtime
Every time we dive into our 1930’s resource books, we appreciate the freshness of the colors, especially this selection from spring 1935. We love the playfulness of designs from the era before WWII. These are all American designs on American made textiles.

Miniature 19th Century Paintings
Printed stripes of all sorts are up-trending here this spring. These three jewels are miniature 19th century paintings in gouache on paper. We love the book they came from, too. We will share more in another Newsletter.

Black & White Are Always Good
We love the mix of new art to the archive mixing it up with a textured French Geo circa 1930’s.
