Surtex

It has been 8 years since we participated in Surtex as an exhibitor. This year we will be gladly be participating. What convinced us that we should be there?

The reason we will be at Surtex May 18th, 19th and 20th is the effective improvements the Producers have made to the show – simple as that!

Surtex is no longer “just” an art licensing show. But it is also a show were Designers can purchase art. We must all think of Surtex as a Print and Artwork Marketplace now.

Look for The Atelier Section of the Show which has more international studios than ever. This is the area where Studios which sell their designs, like we do, are grouped together. There will be original artwork studios and antique textile studios in this section of the show. And since we do both, we’ll be there in Stand 1037.

The Show will have more apparel related studios then ever before. It is no longer “just” a show for home textile, paper goods and gift designers but will have some thing for every designer who needs surface patterns and textures.

Check out the quality of speakers and classes offered at Surtex. From design and creative inspiration to classes on the business of design, every topic is covered. This is, in part, why the show runs for three days – so many opportunities for education.

Really, the only difficulty with the new Surtex is figuring out what to bring with us from Seattle. We can only bring so much for an 8 foot x 10 foot booth. What do we take and what do we leave behind? Come see what we will exhibit and have in our baskets of treasures. What do you want to find at Surtex?
