NEWSLETTER EDITION #144
It’s windy and rainy in Seattle today so we’re enjoying some calm and warmth in the studio. Here are some prints that illustrate what we mean.
Softly colored prints in nearly neutral colors have been requested recently. They reflect the trend to tone down our lived-in environments for calmer spaces away from the noise of our day-to-day. These prints are circa 1940.
Prints in the warm colors of early fall are also welcome this year. Designers have requested them from a variety of eras, as seen here. We would love to see these on soft, sheer fabrics or on sanded or flannel fabrics.
