Architectural Elements

We have a beautiful assortment of original paintings containing architectural elements from the 18th and 19th centuries.  Architectural details from this time period were used as croquies for plaster work and for trompe l’oeil painting by skilled craftsmen. These craftsmen were painters of walls and ceilings in homes and commercial buildings.

When we see original works of art like this, it’s hard not to imagine them inspiring products today. The applications are immense, top of bed, wallpapers, greeting card borders, dramatic wrapping paper, shower curtains, draperies, cut velvet, and possibly even quilting textiles as a ventral field or borders.

We have more items like this in our full collection. If you’d like us to pull a package for you, please reach out through our contact page.
